An artist never has a choice to become someone else. I have been painting all my life. The world turns to me with such beautiful facets that my hands reach for pencils and paints. It can be so good, whatever it is: nature, people, cities and villages, i find beauty and harmony that i hasten to transfer to canvas. The desire to combine the incompatible, to unite what actually exists separately, to capture what is inseparable and see what it is like - all this pushes me to still lifes and portraits. I did not immediately come to painting in my life as the main thing, but no matter how long the road was, it still led me to the canvas and paints.
